Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our clients by ensuring efficient and professional handling of their logistics and freight forwarding needs. The ideal candidate has industry experience, is solution-oriented, detail-focused, and thrives in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding shipments, schedules, documentation, and service issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, sales, billing) and external stakeholders (carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents) to ensure smooth handling of shipments.
  • Proactively manage exceptions and resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Maintain and update customer records and shipment status in company systems.
  • Monitor shipment progress and keep clients informed with timely updates.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of customer service experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping (air/ocean), documentation, and customs procedures is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; other languages (e.g., Mandarin, French) are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • A team player with a strong customer focus and problem-solving attitude.
