Summary:
The Sales Associate team member works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers, delivering friendly and courteous service while explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs. This role also involves store maintenance such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service including providing product knowledge to our customers
- Working as a team to achieve goals
- Balance serving our customers with other tasks in the store
- Maintaining a world class environment throughout the store
- Meet, greet, and thank customers
- Guide customers to locations and products
- Suggest value added and related products
- Stock shelves and display areas
- Keep stock clean, faced and in order
- Locate products in warehouse
- Keep informed of promotions
- Keep department clean
- Maintain professional appearance
- Alert management to security problems
- Follow company, store and department policies
- Follow health and safety program provided
- Maintain composure and work in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to remain productive in slower times
- Ability to multitask
- Punctual and reliable
Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and as a member of the team
- High school education, or current enrollment in high school
- Able to lift at least 25lbs and be comfortable bending, lifting, kneeling, and using ladders
- Experience in a retail setting would be highly desirable
- A passion for the community in which you live, or experience volunteering would be an asset
