Position Description:

Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.

Answer and respond to phone and email inquiries.

Schedule sleep testing and other clinic appointments.
-
Manage and maintain multiple daily appointment schedules.

Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system.
-
Process billing and assist patients with insurance claims and pre-approvals.
-
Provide support to our patients throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing follow-up care.
-
Educate patients on proper equipment care and maintenance.
-
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely communication regarding patient care.

Sanitize, maintain and prepare medical equipment.
-
Provide support to our Respiratory Therapists and other team members.

Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support office operations.
Position Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year of professional administrative experience is required.
-
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience is required.
-
Experience with MS Office and the willingness to learn other medical software programs as required for the position.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Accuro, is an asset.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

The ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

The ability to be adaptable in an ever-evolving workplace environment.
