The Role:
The Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright is responsible for the repair and maintenance of processing and packaging equipment to ensure ongoing, cost-effective operations, in a continuous operations, multi-shift environment.
What you get to do:
- Repair and maintain packaging equipment and high-speed PLC-controlled equipment
- Repair and maintain processing and material handling equipment
- Carry out requirements of Preventative Maintenance programs
- Perform facility repairs as required
- Repair, upgrade, and install electronic controls and equipment
- Program and modify PLCs
What you bring to the role:
- Millwright License (433A) is required
- Industrial Electrician License (442A) an asset
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment
- 3-5 years’ experience in repair and overhaul, troubleshooting of processing, packaging, and material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with the following equipment is an asset: IMA, Mespic, Hayssen
Other important information:
- The current shift pattern is a 5-day x 8 hours MAD Rotation:
- Midnight 11:00PM-7:30AM
- Afternoon 3:00PM-11:30PM
- Day 7:00AM-3:30PM
