Through your knowledge of the quick service industry you take pride in supporting the Owner and Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day operations of a fast paced restaurant. In this position you will: • Manage the shift by ensuring your team has all the tools they need to succeed • Follow Wendy's standards and guidelines when preparing products for our guests as well as follow all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment • Recruit, train, and coach a diverse team to achieve and maintain Tim Hortons high standards of operation • Promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding • Manage inventory and ordering, Scheduling, as well as Training Your local Wendy's located on 2456 Bank Street is looking for an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant, you are the perfect blend of mentor and team captain. You lead your team through your shift with a positive attitude. You set an example by placing guests as your highest priority and role model exceptional guest service. You spot opportunities to improve the business and you are able to effectively communicate with the management team. With 1-2 years of Food Service Supervisor experience you are qualified to be in this leadership role. You are guest focused, enthusiastic, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment. What You’ll Do: As an Assistant Manager, you will: Lead with a Guest-First Mindset: Ensure every guest leaves with a smile by creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging restaurant environment. Excel at Guest Recovery: Take charge of guest concerns with urgency, empathy, and professionalism—always turning a negative into a positive. Be Available and Ready: This is a position requiring full availability, including weekends and holidays. You’ll be an essential leader ready to step in at any moment. Support Store Excellence: Make decisions that reflect both the guest’s satisfaction and the store’s operational success. Inspire and Coach the Crew: Guide team members in delivering consistent, high-quality service with genuine care and energy.
