About the role

Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable living by building strong partnerships that bring innovative water solutions into every home?

What is the job about? As a Key Account Manager in our Domestic Building Services division, you will lead sales efforts within a designated business area, aligning closely with Grundfos’ strategic goals and policies. You’ll be responsible for managing key customer relationships in the province of Quebec, driving growth and delivering value through expert-level sales knowledge and deep technical and commercial insight.

This role involves developing impactful initiatives that influence operations across multiple units and regions. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our market presence, fostering strong partnerships, and contributing to the success of our sustainable water solutions.

This role requires proximity to Quebec City or Montreal, as it involves regular interaction with partners in the region. Please note that relocation support is not available for this position.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of partners and key accounts, fostering long-term relationships with wholesalers, Installers, contractors, consultants, hydronic designers, plumbers and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with Grundfos’ product and service offerings.
  • Implement sales strategies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with company policies and support the sales team with clear guidance.
  • Deliver both virtual and in-person product and application-based training to customers and partners.
  • Use your technical and commercial insight to identify value-added services and make data-driven business decisions focused on profitability.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and register all sales activities and opportunities in our global CRM system (SAP).
  • Contribute to regional initiatives that impact multiple business units and support cross-functional collaboration.

Your background We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3–4 years of relevant experience in HVAC trade, in sales or account management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required
  • Proven experience driving and executing developed processes within the residential and light commercial segment.
  • Ability to lead business processes and manage project advancement effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of hydronic systems, pumps, and the operational plans and activities within the residential and light commercial functional area.
  • Solid understanding of local laws, regulations, and technical standards relevant to the hydronic and plumbing industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., SAP) is an asset.
