Responsibilities

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently.
• Help with the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Support the team in food handling tasks, ensuring quality control throughout the cooking process.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Maintain an inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• A passion for cooking and the food industry is highly desirable.
