Job Description What will you work on? Working as a member of the IT Business Office within the Global Office of Information Technology for Spin Master Ltd, the EDI Team Lead will have responsibility for developing and supporting all of our business to business integrations within our Integration Platform.
This individual will join an enthusiastic, fast-paced, and dynamic team at Spin Master. They will be required to exercise their technical background, innovation, creativity, structure, good judgment, and attention to detail daily.
How will you create impact?
- Lead Spin Master’s business to business communication conversion from IBM Gentran to Boomi EDI, lead all ongoing development of the Boomi EDI Platform, and lead the design and governance process of the development lifecycle for the Boomi EDI Development.
- Develop a common framework for implementing EDI across the organization for new trading partner onboarding.
- Responsible for designing and maintaining the customer/warehouse onboarding process for B2B integrations.
- Manage incidents as related to EDI (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting and analysis of incidents).
- Lead the Sprint Prioritization, Technical Review/Estimation, and other Ceremonies in the Agile Sprint Process.
- Identify opportunities for optimization of our EDI environment to increase business efficiency.
- Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are technically correct and meet industry, iPaaS, and project standards.
- Interact with technical team members such as Data Engineers, SAP Functional Analysts, Web Developers, and Network Engineers to ensure technical requirements are addressed.
- Become an expert for the EDI team on the Boomi EDI platform and continuously learn about features released and make suggestions to improve our landscape.
- Be the primary point of contact for Integrations during the customer onboarding for B2B processes.
- Create a solid technical foundation for our customers to achieve success with our platform and support in the strategic delivery of an offshore support team and managed services for EDI.
What are your skills and experience?
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of onboarding new EDI customers/ enhancements to existing EDI customers.
- 3 to 5 years of EDI support and testing experience a plus.
- 5+ years of experience developing integrations using the Boomi EDI cloud integration platform.
- Experience or understanding of as many of these related areas as possible: XML messaging structure, Web services, SOAP and REST API’s, SAP integration services, AWS, and Data Warehousing.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.
- Experience in retail Industry EDI Projects an asset
