Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to take on a leadership role in protecting critical data and systems? We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our dynamic swat team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Security Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' digital assets and infrastructure. You'll leverage your expertise to design and implement robust security solutions, conduct risk assessments, and provide strategic guidance to enhance overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments

  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced security systems and networks

  • Develop and manage comprehensive security programs and policies

  • Assist clients in detecting and responding to security incidents

  • Lead security audits and penetration testing initiatives

  • Provide expert consultation on emerging threats and best practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a senior consultant role

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations

  • Strong expertise in SIEM, EDR, and NSM solutions

  • Proficiency in risk management and threat intelligence

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred

Salary Range: $101,000-$151,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
