Job Title: Senior ERP Developer – LS Central & Microsoft Business Central

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior ERP Developer to support, extend, and evolve our LS Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) retail implementation. The ideal candidate will possess deep and extensive experience with AL and C/AL development, deep technical proficiency with LS Central retail features, strong business acumen in retail operations, inventory, point-of-sale, and customer experience, and proven ability to build and integrate APIs with external systems. This role requires the candidate to lead development efforts, ensure system scalability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration between ERP, POS, e-commerce, and other retail technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance customizations within Microsoft Business Central (BC) and LS Central.
• Build, maintain, and document APIs for integration with third-party platforms (e.g., e-commerce, logistics, analytics, mobile apps).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Maintain and enhance POS, inventory, customer, and store management functionalities within LS Central.
• Develop and maintain extensions using AL (and C/AL where legacy systems are involved).
• Configure and deploy solutions following best practices in change control and versioning.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of ERP-related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within LS Central/BC and connected systems.
• Participate in upgrade projects, patch testing, and deployment cycles.
• Monitor system performance and suggest optimization and modernization opportunities.

Qualifications Required:

• 5+ years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, including strong expertise with AL and legacy C/AL.
• 3+ years working with LS Central in a retail setting.
• Hands-on experience with LS Central (retail, hospitality, or similar verticals).
• Strong knowledge of API development (REST, OAuth, JSON, XML).
• Proficiency with Business Central Web Services, OData, and API endpoints.
• Experience working with extensions (v2), event-driven programming, and sandbox environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services related to BC (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) is an asset.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for BC/LS Central.
• Familiarity with retail systems, inventory, and POS integrations.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments.

Education & Certifications:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Microsoft certifications in Business Central or LS Central are an asset
