About the role
The Tooling Engineer is responsible for power tools, hand tooling, ergo arms, fixtures, and miscellaneous production and maintenance equipment in the General Assembly Department.
The Tooling Engineer will work with Corporate Manufacturing Engineering and others to develop tooling and process level requirements for new operations product or process; Design tools, equipment, and fixtures using AutoCAD; Work with other equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to source, design, build and install tooling and equipment; Order tooling and equipment; Write projects to replace, upgrade, or refurbish tooling and equipment; and Work with various disciplines to support Stellantis Production Way and make continuous process improvements.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum TWO (2) years manufacturing engineering experience in tooling
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Access, and AutoCAD design software
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Must be self-directed and willing to work any shift
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
