As a Retail Product Analyst - Summer Student,
You will report to the Director, Retail Product. The summer student role is designed to support the Retail Product team with various tasks related to competitive research, product content review, and administrative support. This position is ideal for a university-level student in a business program looking to gain practical experience in the financial services industry.
What you will do:
Competitive Research & Summaries
- Conduct competitive research on market pricing and product offerings.
- Create summaries and reports on competitor activities.
- Assist in weekly market pricing reviews to ensure competitive positioning.
Product Content Review
- Review and update internal product documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of product content.
- Assist in the creation of presentations for internal audiences.
Product Team Inbox Support
- Monitor and respond to requests submitted to the Product Team inbox.
- Provide support for internal requests for product information.
- Assist in managing the product portfolio reporting.
Reporting & Data Entry
- Help with the preparation of reports and data analysis.
- Perform data entry tasks to support product initiatives.
- Organize electronic files and maintain data organization.
Administrative Support

Assist with electronic filing and data organization.

Support the execution of approved product initiatives.

Collaborate with team members to support organizational goals.
How you will succeed:

Currently enrolled in a university-level business program

Interest in financial analysis and product management

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic understanding of product/service management

Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Sharepoint, CRM systems, and JIRA
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Join us! This role is hybrid. Our Corporate Offices are located at 3280 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, and 75 Corporate Park Dr, St. Catharines.
