About the role
Spartan is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Supervisor Lobster Trap Shop to oversee daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring product quality, optimizing processes, producing high-quality traps that meet the demands of the industry, and leading a team of production staff to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Actively participate in building and assembling traps alongside your team.
- Supervise and motivate the production team to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor production performance and implement improvements for productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality regulations, and company policies.
- Manage resources, including raw materials, machinery, and workforce scheduling.
- Identify training needs and support professional development of team members.
Qualifications

Experience in marine gear or trap production.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
