Employment Status Part Time Employment Type Regular Job Summary
The Print Room Clerk is responsible for providing services to all customers of the College of New Caledonia Print Room by providing excellent customer service, printing and copying, and responding to customer queries. This role is also responsible for maintaining stock replenishment within the Print Room while also ensuring a safe environment for customers.
Specific Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers by processing printing and copying requests based on customer specifications in an effective and efficient manner.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers in fulfilling printing and copying requirements by ensuring that specific needs are met.
- Ensure the completion of all printing and copying requirements with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met.
- Perform administrative duties, including managing incoming phone calls and responding to emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and replenish paper, toner and general supplies ensuring inventory is maintained to ensure printing needs are met without interruption.
- Maintains the Print Room in a safe and organized manner. This includes cleaning and sanitizing furniture, various surfaces, and equipment.
- Reports any required maintenance needs, faulty equipment, and broken/damaged items to the College Store Supervisor.
- You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.
- You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
- Other related duties as assigned by the College Store Supervisor, or designate.
Skills & Qualifications

Completion of grade 12 education

6 months or more In general office or print room experience

Knowledge of Multi-Function Printers

Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with students, staff, faculty, and other visitors

Ability to multi-task by performing various tasks throughout the day

Physical ability to complete the demands of the position
