Explore your next role:

The PME AV Parts Sales Attendant reports directly to the Manager, Facilities, PME & Airport services with work duties to support the high demand of crate requests coming in from sales and shipping department and the movement of company Equipment and empty crates to be picked up and brought back to PME for inspection and repair and inventory old crates for use.

Crate Fabrication

  • Prioritize crate requests.
  • Building of all types of different crates such as AOG/Custom crates to fit customer needs.
  • Repair and Inventory crate returns for restocking.
  • Provide Canadian Wood Packaging Program training new employees.
  • Following the Canadian Wood Packaging Manual.
  • Inventory and replace building materials and shop supplies.
  • Upload Wood packaging tracking sheets, Crate Inventory sheets.
  • Only purchase approved Lumber for Fabricating the crates.
  • PO Number all-treated lumber.
  • Put together pre-manufacturing crates. (Build a crates).
  • Prepare for Internal and External wood audits.

Forklift Operations

  • Movement of crates for drop off and pick up.
  • Blocking of scrap aircraft Hangar 6.
  • Unloading trucks at PME Shop.
  • Movement of fuel bowsers.
  • Understanding and completing prior to use sheet daily.
  • Requests from Matcon to assist in their movements as needed.
  • Assisting Airport Services requests
  • Call outs.

Other

  • Building of project requests from AV Parts Sales (Cradles).
  • Building of project requests from Engineering approved by AV Parts.
  • Building special projects for high-end customers.

Winter Months

  • Shoveling of Buildings doorways, Stairs and Emergency Exits and Fire Hydrants.

Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:

  • High school diploma required.
  • Forklift license but will be provided through an outside vendor,
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Work well with others.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work for a Canadian company and provide clear criminal background checks.

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
