Summary of Position
At SUNRISE KITCHENS, our people are our greatest assets. As a Logistics Helper, you will be apart of a team to help ensure day to day productivity is maintained and operations are uninterrupted. You will work with the Logistics team and help with delivering, loading & unloading cabinets and helping with the required tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a General Labourer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Offload cabinets from wrapping machine
- Follow proper loading documentation procedure
- Load trucks with cabinets efficiently while avoiding any damages to the product
- Load all equipment/tools needed for delivery
- Ensure all product and equipment are secure in the truck.
- Unload the trucks at the job site and store product in the designated units in an organized manner, while avoiding damages to the product or property
Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team driven environment
- Demonstrated communication skills in English (read/write/speak)
- Problem solve and identify solutions
Shift: Day 6:30am - 3:00pm
It is part time position where the availability needs to be flexible
Benefits:
- Health benefits, including health, dental and vision care as well as therapy and massage are available after 3 months' probationary period
- Other benefits are also available for employees at work, such as lockers, vending machines, new equipment
- A pilot bonus program has also been in place
Starting Wage: $18.00/hr with opportunities to grow upon successful completion of the 3 month probationary period.
