As eCommerce Merchandising Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end experience of Sundays’ online store—from strategic planning to hands-on execution. Reporting to the VP of eCommerce & Marketing, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves collaborating across teams, and is excited to shape how customers discover and shop for furniture online.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead content strategy from concept through execution for key initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and top-performing collections on Sundays-company.com
- Create, test, and optimize landing pages to drive traffic and conversion
- Own and execute a performance-based merchandising strategy across all shopping pages
- Prepare, analyze, and present reports on merchandising performance, site health, and user experience; surface actionable insights to inform continuous improvement
- Own and optimize the full onsite customer journey, from discovery through to conversion; drive improvements to navigation, content flow, and page structure
- Implement and monitor UX and analytics tools (e.g. Microsoft Clarity, GA4, event tracking, user testing) to uncover friction points and inform site enhancements
- Lead the strategy and execution of new site features and capabilities, partnering with development and design to prioritize, implement, and optimize rollouts
- Manage day-to-day operations of the eCommerce site, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and a best-in-class customer experience
- Develop and maintain scalable processes, documentation, and playbooks for merchandising, content, and optimization initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, product, and CX teams to support business goals and site performance
- Stay current on eCommerce trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of eCommerce experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively
- Self-starter with strong project management skills
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Creative thinker with a sharp eye for how campaigns and brand storytelling translate into compelling onsite experiences and merchandising
- Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people
- Keen to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow
