Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Recruiter based in Fort McMurray, AB. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the workforce needs of the FMGOC. Key tasks include utilizing various recruitment platforms, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. The Recruiter will also manage candidate databases and maintain effective employer branding to attract top talent.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Sourcing, Interviewing, and Candidate Selection
- Experience in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Recruitment Platforms - specifically Dayforce
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with hiring teams
- Knowledge of labor laws and hiring compliance
- Previous experience in recruitment within the oilfield or construction industry is a pluS
