About the Opportunity:

We currently have an opening for a Product Marketing Assistant. As a member of the product marketing team, the Product Marketing Assistant supports all marketing activities that contribute to raising product awareness, assisting with go-to market plans, and meeting business objectives for the Civil & Transportation and Traffic Safety business units. NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in our Vancouver office.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Research target markets and customer personas to inform product awareness and go-to-market strategies;

  • Collaborate on the creation of sales enablement materials to enhance the buyer’s journey;

  • Assist in the evaluation of data and the creation of reports on key metrics to measure campaign efficiency and analyze trends;

  • Assist in monitoring and enhancing product demand, building the pipeline, and carrying out competitive research on market trends and changes;

  • Coordinate marketing events and provide administrative support;

  • Contribute to content strategies for different platforms, including social media, website, adverts, emails, case studies, and more;

  • Execute email campaigns and assist with SEO/SEM initiatives;

  • Support project management and go-to-market plan coordination;

  • Master marketing platforms such as Google Analytics and Marketo;

  • Manage CRM data to glean insights into leads and customers;

  • Assist in aligning stakeholders with marketing objectives through internal communications.

About You:

  • You hold a post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • You possess 1-2 years of marketing experience, with a preference for B2B environments.

  • You have experience working with software or technology companies, which is considered an asset.

  • You demonstrate proficiency with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • You excel in setting goals, planning and managing projects, and meeting deadlines effectively.

  • You exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt to new projects and company needs.

  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills, communicating effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.

  • You showcase analytical skills for gathering and reviewing information.

  • You exhibit a high attention to detail in ensuring accuracy in marketing materials and collateral.

  • You are familiar with project management, productivity, or GTD solutions such as Asana and Microsoft Planner.

  • You have familiarity with digital marketing and are proficient in using Google AdWords and Google Analytics.

  • You demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000 annually + bonus (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
