Job Overview
As a Night Auditor at the Kingston Marriott Hotel, you’ll be responsible for balancing hotel revenues, generating key financial reports, and supporting overnight guest service operations. This role is essential to ensuring smooth transitions between hotel operating days and maintaining financial accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately balance daily room, food and beverage, and telephone revenues.
- Audit and verify the accuracy of all room and tax charges, cashier reports, and guest/house accounts.
- Complete and transmit daily accounting and management reports including customer tracking, market segmentation, and F&B revenue summaries.
- Act as the hotel’s system liaison during overnight hours; report and troubleshoot any issues with Opera or related systems.
- Handle essential Guest Service Representative tasks such as making reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and answering phone calls.
- Communicate with other hotel departments to resolve discrepancies and share relevant information.
- Promote teamwork and service excellence through effective overnight communication and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned, following all company and Marriott brand standards.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Experience: Prior customer service experience required; hospitality or accounting experience is an asset.

Skills: Strong communication, basic math, and computer skills required. Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift items up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable moving around hotel public areas
- Capable of bending, stooping, and kneeling

Schedule: Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Language: Fluent English required; other languages are a plus.
