Manager, Financial Reporting
Reporting into the Director, Finance Operations, and based in our Toronto office, the Manager, Financial Reporting will be part of a dynamic, growing global finance team environment, collaborating with operations, development projects and corporate functions. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and an opportunity to grow your career. The Manager, Financial Reporting will be responsible for preparation and review of key internal and external reporting and maintenance of the Company’s internal control environment. This role will involve travel to the Company’s operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordination of the Company’s quarterly MD&A.
- Preparing and reviewing sections of the Company’s quarterly financial statements.
- Preparation of technical accounting memos for key transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve the organization’s financial operations and financial close process to optimize resource allocation and leverage technologies.
- Assist with the review, testing and implementation of new financial processes, including implementation of new systems.
- Support business process owners with improving internal documentation and strengthening of internal controls.
- Manage and support submissions of operational and financial reporting to help inform decision making.
- Responsible for consolidated monthly financial reporting of key financial and operational performance metrics.
- Translate business needs into meaningful, scalable financial reporting solutions.
- Drive alignment across functions to ensure consistent, actionable data insights.
- Support change management, documentation, and global process adoption.
- Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis on executive-level reporting packages and dashboards.
Experience
Preferred

- CPA or similar accounting designation required.
- Strong command of external disclosure requirements, variance analysis, and presentation
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and systems including SAP, OneStream and Workiva.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with mining operations preferred.
- Spanish language skills considered an asset.
