About the role
Orthowest DBA. Zimmer Biomet is hiring for an asset management support role here in Burnaby, local to bus & skytrain routes.
Duties/responsibilities:
· Place new single instrument orders (codes F & M)
· Consignment expiry management
o Placing replacement orders
o Processing expired inventory returns
o Weekly tracking of expiry returns & follow up
· Consignment Increase request submissions
· Running and providing detailed consignment reports as requested
· Load inventory adjustments, including lot swap requests, where applicable
· Manage consignment inventory shipping discrepancies for rollout orders
· Perform inventory returns, and reconciliation prior to physical returns (check for backorders requiring said stock, or redeployments needed for elsewhere, etc), as well as following said returns (ensuring no shortages or items missed in full returns, etc.)
· Facilitate supply constraint and backorder support through targeted redeployments of existing field stock
· Investigate lot number issues for various departments within our office
· Instrument and implant ETAs as requested
Key skills required:
· Problem solving
· Organization
· Ability to multi task
· Attention to detail
· Independent and proactive
· Fluent in English a must
· Able to work well in a team environment
· Knowledge with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Experience with tracked inventory (lot numbers) beneficial
· Medical Background would be beneficial (MOA), but not mandatory
