Assignment:

• Part-time 0.60 FTE temporary replacement teaching position.
• Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until November 14, 2025

Qualifications:

• Experience working in an outreach school setting

• Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships with students from at-risk scenarios

• Strong foundational knowledge background and experiences as they pertain to First Nations, Metis and Inuit students

• Ability to support students with high social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs

• Strong practical understanding of alternative educational practices

• Strong trauma-informed pedagogy

• Growth mindset and will embody a strength-based approach

• Flexible in how to plan and program for students in a junior and senior high school

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, guardians, and outside agencies

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
