About the role
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.60 FTE temporary replacement teaching position.
- Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until November 14, 2025
Qualifications:

Experience working in an outreach school setting

Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships with students from at-risk scenarios

Strong foundational knowledge background and experiences as they pertain to First Nations, Metis and Inuit students

Ability to support students with high social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs

Strong practical understanding of alternative educational practices

Strong trauma-informed pedagogy

Growth mindset and will embody a strength-based approach

Flexible in how to plan and program for students in a junior and senior high school

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, guardians, and outside agencies
