Position: Dietary Aide

Type: Part-time

Shouldice Hospital in Thornhill, the leader in hernia repairs, is looking for a part-time permanent Dietary Aide to provide patient-centred care with exceptional customer service.

Position Purpose

This part-time position is responsible for daily assigned tasks within the Dietary Department. This position is days and weekends.

Responsibilities

· Serving patient dinners and snack

· Setting and resetting tables

· Maintaining a clean and safe environment following Public Health standards

· Customer service

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

· Ability to be on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Knowledge of chemicals

· Knowledge of WHMIS

· Knowledge of Public Health standards

· Strong command of the English language

· Customer service, as well as patient-centred experience

  • Current Food Handling Certificate

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
