Job Title: Onsite Support Engineer
Location: Various Client Sites – Canada (Major cities preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive – Based on Experience
Experience Level: 2+ years in IT support or field engineering

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and deployment services at our client sites across Canada. You will be the face of our company, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software systems including kiosks, tablets, and networking components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Android-based kiosks, tablets, printers, and related hardware.
  • Perform onsite diagnosis and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with the remote development and technical support teams to resolve escalated issues.
  • Ensure devices are correctly integrated into the client's network and backend systems.
  • Conduct system tests, configuration checks, and feedback loop verification post-installation.
  • Provide end-user training and basic onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain accurate logs of activities, inventory, and service reports.
  • Travel to client locations as required (travel expenses covered).

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, onsite support, or field service engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Android systems, basic networking, and peripheral integration.
  • Ability to read and understand installation diagrams and network schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with SIM-based devices and Wi-Fi configuration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally or regionally.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with queue management or feedback systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and system integration with digital signage.
  • Bilingual (English & French) .
