About Us Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200C, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

Air Inuit's Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to the company's essential mission of providing safe, timely and high-quality air service to the people living and doing business in the enchanting region of Northern Quebec.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of employee residences, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Perform housekeeping duties in airport office spaces.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal cleaning task lists.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment responsibly and according to guidelines.
  • Manage inventory and maintain supply levels of household products.
  • Report items in need of repair or maintenance.
  • Follow all company health and safety protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support overall operations.

Qualifications

  • Secondary 4 education or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Functional bilingualism in French and English; Inuktitut considered an asset.
  • Punctual, autonomous, organized, and dependable.
  • Comfortable working flexible or atypical hours.
  • Able to adapt to unexpected situations or schedule changes.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • The employee will be assigned without a specific base.

Compensation

  • Salary and benefits are determined according to company policy.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Rotational position: 2 weeks of work followed by 2 weeks off.
