Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintain oversight and act as point of escalation for all Supply Chain processes and events related to Canadian Business Units.
- Oversee the demand planning process including supporting local demand planners with the demand consensus meetings and forecasting improvement.
- Participate in financial meetings to determine financial call and algin the latest demand sales forecast
- Oversee the Canadian supply planning process, escalations of product issues
- Lead monthly S&OP meetings with the appropriate Business Unit stakeholders.
- Oversee relationship with the 3PL provider and adherence to key metrics
- Develop and oversee yearly operational budgets for the Canadian market
- Measure, communicate and continuously improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, demand at risk, CSL, Hits and Misses
- Effectively work cross-functionally with Canadian and NA leadership and all departments in Canada supporting or touching Supply Chain
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- 5+ years experience in a Generic Pharmaceutical or CPG environment in a supply chain/logistics/inventory role
- Exceptionally strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of vendor management
- Over 2 years of experience managing a team
- Bachelor’s degree or (equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the Canadian pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment
- Ability to think strategically / proactively
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally when required
