Akkodis is looking for Manufacturing Engineers (M/F) for our client in the aerospace industry , based in Winnipeg, MB .
As a Manufacturing Engineer Winnipeg, you’ll support production engineering and continuous improvement in composite and aerospace manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, support production planning, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for composite and aerospace parts.
- Analyze production data and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate in Production Planning to streamline workflows and schedules.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of production issues.
- Participate in pilot builds, process validations, and documentation updates.
- Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Be available for weekend, overtime, and holiday shifts as needed to support production demands.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related Engineering field, and registered or eligible with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
- At least 2 years’ experience in a related engineering or manufacturing role.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet production needs.
- Production Planning experience—considered an asset.
- Knowledge of composite and aerospace manufacturing processes—considered an asset.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
