WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Actively engage with current and former residents in arrears collections.
• Review, approve and administer all resident payment plans.
• Monitor and maintain up-to-date resident ledgers and records regarding collections efforts.
• Resolve resident inquiries including investigations and payment disputes.
• Perform resident ledger reconciliations where necessary.
• Escalate collections with the field teams as required.
• Trace and locate debtors to arrange debt payoffs.
• Generate reports on collection activities and accounts receivable status.
• Other duties as required.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

• Proven experience in a P2P Collections role.
• In depth knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Advanced negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes and secure payment arrangements effectively.
• Understanding of laws and regulations surrounding debt collection.
• Knowledge of RTDRS processes is a strong asset.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to manage large volumes of work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and convey information with clarity and confidence in both written and spoken communication.
• High attention to detail, organization and follow-through
