About the Role
Brookfield Renewable is seeking an initiative-taker Quality Assurance Analyst with 3-5 years of experience delivering QA activities following established methodologies, standards, and processes. The Quality Assurance Analyst will join our growing Business Services Group IT (BSG IT), reporting to the manager of Business applications Solutions. This is a strategic role which will contribute to capital investment projects delivery to our North American business. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Overseeing data and content accuracy across our digital repositories and platforms. This role will focus on ensuring the quality and consistency of information in SharePoint, ServiceNow, and MS Copilot Agents, and contribute to enterprise knowledge management, data privacy, compliance, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Data Quality & Content Control
- Conduct quality checks and ensure accuracy and consistency of data across SharePoint, ServiceNow, and MS Copilot Agents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content meets organizational standards and governance policies.
Knowledge Management
- Support the creation, maintenance, and QA of Knowledge Articles as required, for operations as well as project activities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and clarity.
Training & Business Engagement
- Train business units on SharePoint security and best practices.
- Provide support and guidance for content development and lifecycle management.
Compliance & Project Support
- Perform QA for Disaster Recovery (DR) documentation on an annual basis.
- Lead QA efforts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on IT projects.
- Coordinate SOX QA activities for SOX-impacted projects in alignment with internal controls.
Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Coordination
- Partner with the Cybersecurity team to develop and implement data privacy practices.
- Support enforcement of secure information sharing protocols across platforms.
Best Practices & Process Improvements
- Develop and maintain QA and data management best practices documentation.
- Recommend improvements for workflows and content governance processes.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Thorough understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
- Minimum of 3 years of QA experience in a testing and documentation role.
- A good understanding of technical and non-technical concepts and ability to effectively communicate these concepts to various stakeholders.
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with knowledge management systems.
- Previous experience in compliance, risk management or privacy, an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels.
- Facilitates collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Dynamic, self-driven and self-learner.
Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
