About the role
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Duties
- Foot Patrol
- Patrolling of large spaces on foot not vehicle
- Communicate with staff, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
- Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
- 40-44 Hour work week
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in foot Patrol and Hospital or Corporate Office Building.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Drivers (G) Licence not necessary but nice to have
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.55-$21.35 per hour
