About the role

The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2025 MGST 359.01 LEC 02 (Business Case Studies) during block week. Classes for Fall 2025 block week run from Monday, August 25 to Friday, August 29, 2025.

MGST 359.01 (Business Case Studies)

LEC 02 MTWRF 08:30-17:30

The topic description of the course:

"This course allows students to develop the requisite skills for the rigorous analysis of business cases. Students will develop the requisite skills and knowledge of the tools to present their analysis and recommendations effectively. Students will develop skills in team building, collaboration, decision-making, individual critical thinking, and business presentations. The overall goal of this course is to enable the student to flourish in the team environment of time-limited business case competitions."

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA, or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Previous experience with teaching at a post-secondary level is required.
  • Preference will be given to a candidate with previous case competition coaching experience.
