Min Wage: $33.19 hourly
Max Wage: $33.94 hourly
THE POSITION:
As a Customer Services Assistant 2 you will provide exceptional customer service and deliver library and literacy programs and events.

- Desire and experience in developing children, teen and adult programming
- Demonstrated proficiency in readers’ advisory, reference search strategy, and reference interview techniques

- Knowledge of automated library systems
- A curiosity and ability to work with and learn new technologies, including a variety of technologies (e-readers, tablets, etc.)
- A goal to strive for excellence
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office plus excellent keyboarding skills
- Eagerness to grow your skills, learn and explore
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Library and Information Technology from a recognized institution
- Up to six months work related and on the job customer service experience
- Ability and skill to plan, organize and deliver a variety of children, teen, adult and literacy programs
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Candidate should be prepared for a busy schedule of programming and outreach
- Valid B. C. Drivers licence (minimum level ‘N’) is required
