NOW HIRING: Industrial Mechanics / Millwrights
Location: Leamington, Ontario
Shifts: Three-shift operation (day, afternoon, night)
We are currently seeking qualified Industrial Mechanics / Millwrights to join our team and support our dynamic three-shift operation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Provincial Industrial Mechanic / Millwright Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal preferred)
- Recent hands-on experience in the trade
- Availability for rotating shift work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Previous welding experience (fabrication or repair)
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine work procedures
- Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, generators, etc.)
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices (e.g., cranes, jacks, tractors) to position machinery
- Inspect and examine equipment to detect malfunctions and irregularities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum systems, and PLC systems
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Operate machine tools (e.g., lathes, grinders) to fabricate parts
- Perform routine maintenance: cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery
- Construct or direct construction of machine foundations
- Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
