Our Concept
Piccolo Caffé is looking to build out a team of passionate hospitality driven people looking for something new and exciting to contribute to in the heart of the Entertainment District. We strive to create a fun, local environment with a focus on great food and warm service.
We are creating a cute little village in conjunction with our sister bars on John Street and hope to continue growing the community while offering a variety of spaces to explore. See our cocktail bar - Melrose on Adelaide & Saint John's Tavern for some more great experiences in the city.
The Role
Effective communication is key in this position, so we are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and an attention to detail. The right candidate will work with our management team to create a fun, high-energy atmosphere that is welcoming and comfortable to customers. They prides themselves in consistently delivering exceptional customer service and leading by example for our team.
Our staff are the key to our operation’s success. They have a real passion for food and beverage, but most importantly, people.
How do we achieve this?
- Maintain and create an environment where all staff are properly supported and trained
- Regularly praising your achievements and successes
- Keeping our staff informed and educated on current and upcoming venue developments
- Reviewing and improving staff performance and overall job satisfaction
- Staff outings by and/or to vineyards, breweries, and distillers for training
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
- Tips
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

About Saint John's Tavern
St John Tavern is looking to build out a team of passionate hospitality driven people looking for something new and exciting to contribute to in the heart of the Entertainment District. Starting from the ground up, we'll be opening a casual tavern with a focus on great food and warm service. St John Tavern will become a multi-level experience with three unique bars on three separate floors, as well as multiple patios to be discovered. We are creating a cute little village in conjunction with our sister bars on John St and hope to continue growing the community while offering a variety of spaces to explore. See our cocktail bar - Melrose on Adelaide & our coffee shop, turned into a funky wine bar in the evenings - Piccolo Caffe e Vino.
Starting with the first floor, opening Jan ‘22. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
