Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for decorating cakes, with a strong understanding of food safety. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning cakes that meet our customers' specifications while ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and decorate cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food handling regulations.
• Ensuring orders are completed in time for pickup or delivery.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients during the ordering process and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Stay updated on current trends in cake decorating techniques and styles.

Experience

• Previous experience in cake decorating or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with various tools, and equipment used in cake decoration.
• Experience working with fondant and buttercream.
• Experience crumb coating and masking cakes with buttercream.
• Experience covering cakes with fondant.
• Ability to do pipping using various nozzle tips.

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 44 per week
