About the role
Purpose
Responsible for the facilities cleaning in designated area. Operate within our standards of safety, high quality customer service and efficient operations.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Thoroughly clean lobbies, laundry room and washroom, elevator cab, garbage chute and garbage rooms, including mopping and vacuuming of all floors, runners and furniture using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning, and wiping of all windows, doors, trims, baseboards, walls, floors in the common areas, including the tops of washers and dryers.
- Dust all lobby area light shades, table tops, picture frames, and elevator fans.
- Clean and polish all stainless steel.
- Ensure vacant apartments are thoroughly cleaned as per company standards and completed on schedule as directed by property manager.
- Remove and dispose of all pamphlets and flyers from mail room, lobby area, and garbage receptacles.
- Remove debris on every floor.
- Follow Health & Safety guidelines including WHMIS
- Identify and report urgent repairs or hazards to management
- Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and tenants.
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Education
- Minimum High school
Experience
- Preference: Previous experience as building cleaner.
Skills and abilities
