Samsic is HIRING – Ramp Agent/Baggage Handler

We are looking for a Ramp Handler/Baggage Handler who will provide direct support to the Shift Supervisor. The successful candidate will be an energetic, positive, professional, and self-motivated individual providing exceptional operational support.

Job Description

• Responsible for loading, unloading and servicing aircraft.
• Fanatical emphasis on Service Quality.
• Demonstrate a Safety First attitude
• Create good housekeeping practices in the workplace

Requirements & Qualifications

· Previous experience in the aviation industry or in a similar role is preferred.
· Class 5 driver's license, (Class 5 GDL is accepted) clean Drivers abstract
· Able to secure an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit ( AVOP)
· Able to secure Transport Canada RAIC
· Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Highly motivated and able to work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to multi-task and establish priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
· Must always maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms.
· Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the Samsic Assistance Team.

· Must be available to work shift work which may be any combination of mornings, afternoons, or evening shifts.

Salary: From $19.00 per hour
