About the role
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Pro Shop and Beverage Cart Assistant to join our team. In this duel role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by taking tee time requests and guiding golfers through our course requirements. Sales of Pro Shop items and minor cleaning duties will be required. As a Beverage cart person, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of beverages and snacks throughout the golf course. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a background in food service, and guest services, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve a selection of beverages and snacks to guests in a timely and friendly manner.
- Take tee time requests in person or on the phone, and process payment for golf rounds
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the beverage cart and pro shop areas.
- Ensure that all food and drink items are properly prepared and presented according to health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure availability of products.
- Engage with guests, providing assistance and answering any questions they may have about the golf course
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with turf crew, back shop, and food and beverage staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding food safety and sanitation practices.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve guests during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation standards is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
- Smart Served Certification required.
