We are looking for a Senior GoLang Developer with strong full-stack development experience and deep knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure.

This role involves hands-on engineering across GoLang backend development, React-based frontends, and cloud-native technologies such as Azure Functions, Kubernetes, and Azure SQL. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on complex systems, experienced with infrastructure modernization and cloud migration, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using GoLang
• Build and support React-based user interfaces integrated with backend services
• Develop and deploy Azure Functions and manage cloud-native applications in Azure
• Work with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure SQL MI
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Leverage Kubernetes (OCP) for container orchestration and application deployment
• Design and schedule batch jobs using AutoSys for large-scale workflows
• Lead or support infrastructure upgrades and migrations to Azure Cloud
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and system design sessions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams

Requirements

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile practices
• Proven experience in GoLang development with a full-stack mindset
• Hands-on experience in cloud-native development using Microsoft Azure and Azure Functions
• Proficiency in React UI Framework for building responsive front-end applications
• Strong experience with database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure SQL MI
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes (OCP) and containerized application development
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and automation tools like AutoSys
• Experience in infrastructure modernization, including migrating legacy systems to Azure Cloud
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$105,000 - CA$140,000.
