About the role
Bluewater Imaging is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist Assistant to join our radiology team. The Radiologist Assistant will be responsible for evaluating images for completeness and diagnostic quality and reporting initial observations to the delegating radiologist. As a crucial liaison between patients, radiologic technologists, radiologists, and other members of the healthcare team, your expertise and communication skills will be essential in ensuring the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate diagnostic images for completeness and quality assurance.
- Provide initial observations and findings to the delegating radiologist.
- Serve as a communication bridge between patients, radiologic technologists, radiologists, and the broader healthcare team.
- Support the professional development and competency of technologist staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Medical degree in Diagnostic Radiology
- Experience in ultrasound and X-ray reporting
- Canadian licensure is not required
