We're seeking a Creative Design Manager to lead our Graphic Design team. This role demands a unique blend of creativity, technical prowess, and project management acumen. The Design Manager will spearhead the creative direction across various platforms, with a specific focus on vehicle wraps, interactive solutions, and branding.
Please note that this is a full-time on-site position in Mississauga, ON.
Schedule: Monday to Friday.
What your typical day at work will be like:
- Lead a designer team by supervising and integrating design elements for vehicle wraps, interactive projects, and branding ventures.
- Guide and inspire a diverse team of designers, ensuring a cohesive and inventive approach to all endeavors.
- Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their vision and transform it into compelling design solutions.
- Be the first point of contact between the design team and clients.
- Manage the design process from conception to execution, ensuring projects meet the highest standards and deadlines.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and interactive technology teams to ensure execution feasibility and quality.
- Keep abreast of the latest design, vehicle graphics, and interactive technology trends, integrating them into our work.
- Cultivate a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continual learning within the design team.
What makes you an ideal fit for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design roles, demonstrating a successful track record in vehicle graphics, interactive design, or related fields.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in graphic design, vehicle wrap design, and/or interactive projects.
- Proficiency in leading design software like Adobe Creative Suite, coupled with familiarity with interactive technology tools.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing a multifaceted design team.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and client interaction skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a fervor for delivering innovative design solutions.
