Electrician: Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Maintenance Electrician operates within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant's machinery and equipment. This role is pivotal in improving processes to minimize disruption to production lines. The Maintenance Electrician troubleshoots and repairs a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Location: Saskatoon
Primary Tasks:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Proficiently diagnose electrical faults, implement solutions to minimize downtime, and conduct preventive maintenance on critical components like motors, generators, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints for accurate installation and repair.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute electrical projects and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed for future reference.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting electrical and machine components.
- Instrumentation experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity and ability to work in metric and imperial measurements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient, reliable, with attention to detail.
