Yard Gear Sales & Service is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team!
About the Role:
As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of our service department. You will serve as a bridge between customers, technicians, and management while ensuring that operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to mediate difficult situations, and a commitment to team protection and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate all operational inefficiencies to direct reports in a timely manner.
- Monitor and support technicians in reaching their targets.
- Report on daily/monthly technician goals.
- Monitor technician schedules and report any absences.
- Support technician development through training and growth opportunities.
- Monitor all work orders and ensure efficient completion.
- Report on work orders and ensure an efficient conversion rate.
- Report any inefficiencies to the CEO.
- Manage all warranty procedures.
- Ensure all warranties are completed in a timely manner.
- Facilitate prompt and precise communication between the service department and counter sales team.
- Oversee maintenance of work vehicles and trailers.
- Assist assembly teams with parts or warranties on new products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
