Position Overview:

As a Dine-In Host – Team Member, you’ll be the face of our restaurant— welcoming guests with warmth, leading conversations with confidence, and
ensuring every dine-in experience is nothing short of exceptional. This role is perfect
for someone who is outgoing, persuasive, and energized by social interactions. If

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the First Impression: Greet every guest with enthusiasm, friendliness, and genuine hospitality.
  • Build Connections: Engage in natural, fluent, and lively conversation with guests to make them feel valued and at home.
  • Create Moments: Go above and beyond to personalize guest experiences, whether through small acts of kindness or thoughtful service.
  • Manage Flow: Oversee dine-in traffic, coordinate seating efficiently, and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure timely service.
  • Support Operations: Assist with service needs as required while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Champion Hospitality Standards: Uphold our defined Hospitality Model
  • Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive remarkable service during the shift, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintaining hospitality excellence to fulfill our mission: "To win the hearts of the Kanata community every day through great and safe food, quick and accurate service, and exemplary hospitality."

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Must have 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Fluent and energetic communicator – bilingualism a perk
  • Uninhibited and expressive—quick to offer help and smiles
  • Poised under pressure and enthusiastic under all circumstances
  • Naturally persuasive and engaging
  • Must possess the ability to handle a highly demanding and fast-paced restaurant

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be available to work Mondays - Saturdays
  • Must be available to work at least 2 Saturdays a month
