About the role

As the Operations Coordinator for the school organization, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the school organization department, providing administrative support to the academic, academic progress, and registrar sectors, and managing a team of administrative technicians while fostering their skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a reference person for the academic sector regarding the compliance of the teacher assignment process;
  • Ensure standardized and consistent application of policies, regulations, and procedures related to assignments and act as a reference person to resolve more complex issues;
  • Manage and monitor the assignment process, budget management, and success plan;
  • Use intelligent or operational platforms to ensure pre-entered data is adequate and guarantee assignment compliance;
  • Manage absences, illnesses, and replacements of teaching staff;
  • Follow up with the payroll service, validate, and sign teacher contracts in collaboration with the administrative technicians of the school organization;
  • Follow up on off-session courses and contracts, design the master schedule for each session, as well as the personalized schedule for students and teachers;
  • Ensure that operational processes and their procedures are updated.

Requirements

  • Degree in administration, management, or a related field;
  • Experience in coordination or administrative management, preferably in the education sector;
  • Knowledge of project management tools and office software;
  • Bilingual in French and English;
  • Proficiency with measurement and data collection tools: Comfortable with Excel and other office software, and interested in data analysis and continuous improvement.

This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
