About the Role
The purpose of this role is to lead a designated area of the practice and oversee a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service while actively contributing to the growth and development of the business. This position requires strong leadership skills to effectively mentor team members, fostering professional relationships that promote a culture of collaboration and excellence. Additionally, the role supports key business development initiatives, driving the practice's growth and enhancing its overall success.
Reports to: Senior Manager/Partner
Responsibilities
- Manages and prioritizes multiple engagements
- Responsible for all aspects of client service
- Production and billing management
- Advises, coaches and supports team members
- Actively supports and participates in firm wide initiatives
- Participates in the firm’s Team Development and Performance Management Program
- Promotes the firm’s Quality Control Standards
Qualifications
- CPA designation with a minimum of three years post qualification experience
- Sound professional judgement
- Strong client relationship and client advisory skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in delivery of quality client service
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Able to successfully lead, coach and mentor team members
- Strong depth and breadth of technical knowledge
- Thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, emerging laws and regulations and corporate governance requirements
