Position Summary

The incumbent provides a variety of administrative services in support of Northwest Employment Works ( NEW ) and Employment Ontario’s Employment Services program. The incumbent acts as liaison/support between the Ministry and Employment Services front-line staff in respect to timely and accurate data collection/data management/data entry into the provincial Case Management Systems (CaMS) and CATS programs and college Banner system.

Performs administrative and receptionist duties and other work essential to the Department including confidential matters such as contracts and timesheets; processing purchasing requisitions, requests for payment, coding and processing invoices, receiving and directing incoming calls and visitors, providing program information, booking appointments and answering customer inquiries in person and by telephone.

The Incumbent provides training and guidance to office part-time clerks, both to Dryden and to area offices regarding the Ministry’s data collection requirements and use of client tracking systems.
