Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Inspector, Airfield Electrical & Civil Works - Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.
Major Requirements:
- Oversees construction activities to verify general compliance with Contract Documents and ensures the contractor takes appropriate measures to meet quality standards.
- Prepares daily reports and regularly updates the Construction Manager on progress and issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
- HS + 4 years of relevant experience in project or construction management or relevant profession.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
- Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
- Typically has at least 7 years of professional experience as a construction inspector or in a similar role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience on large, complex projects, with at least 3 years of on-site involvement.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of reporting protocols and is experienced in preparing management-level reports.
- Able to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and site personnel.
Additional Information
- This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.
