Job Purpose:
To build brand loyalty among the Centre of Influence (COIs) within the Mortgage Ecosystem; To develop a high-performing sales culture by establishing effective Sales Strategy and Action Plan; To lead the Sales team achieving the goals by fulfilling the customers’ needs through offering best advice and solutions covering 360-degree banking in a professional and efficient manner.
Area of Responsibility

Become a key brand ambassador through active representation in important business forums and sales events organized by external professional associations and internal Sales teams

Develop a high-performing sales culture by formulate, implement, promote and manage the mortgage sales strategy in line with the Bank’s objectives
-
Build effective action plan for direct and intermediary channels to funnel mortgage sales opportunities and coordinate with Corporate, Commercial, Retail and other departments to cover the 360-degree banking opportunities.

Design and roll out sales initiatives / campaigns and work closely with relevant teams (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Product, Customer Services, Risk, Treasury and Finance).

Manage the key performance indicators (KPIs) for Sales team including COIs establishment, Customer Retention, Lead Referral, Mortgage Funding and Cross-sell products; identify any trends and make recommendations to drive the KPIs towards target levels.

Establish business relationships directly with COIs including key promoters in Branch channel, Mortgage Broker channel, Real Estate Brokerage channel and other business partners in the communities for new customer referrals

Coach and mentor team members to complete the Sales Cycle for each lead and record in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application

Provide latest mortgage products and program information to external COIs and internal Sales teams including branch channel.

Understand the market practices, closely monitoring the changes from the peers and make timely suggestions to enhance the underwriting, fulfilment and funding process for maintaining the competitiveness

Coordinate with all stakeholders including COIs, Financial Service Officers, Branch Managers, NRI Relationship Managers, Mortgage Brokers and other business partners for collecting feedback, bringing new perspectives and sharing best practices among them.

Meet Compliance and Regulatory requirements for the business including Anti-Money Laundering & Anti-Terrorist Financing Policy and OSFI B20 Guideline

Cover other work area within the team as necessary

Maintain all relevant records as mandated by the Record Management Policy
